ACTIVITIES
Sometimes referred to as the last frontier of northern Tanzania, Mkomazi has a wide variety of flora and fauna with 78 species of mammals.​
Hikes or walks in the park allow visitors the chance to finally get out of their vehicles and explore.
Mkomazi has been home to a Black Rhino breeding program as well as an African Wild Dog breeding and rehabilitation program.
​
There are approximately 450 species of birds in Mkomazi, making it a birdwatcher’s paradise.
